This minimalist lamp features a glass dome atop a deeply marbled teakwood base.
Its Edison bulb gives off a soft, pleasant glow. Hand carved on a lathe, the base then undergoes a long sanding process and is sealed with wood lacquer, giving it a smooth and seamless finish. A white fabric covered cord and brass hardware add the finishing touches. Each lamp base is individually crafted from start to finish by a group of woodworkers in a fair trade environment in Kampala, Uganda. Due to the handmade construction process and materials, slight variations that enhance the piece's character should be expected.
